We invented the Trump. We made it possible by having outrageous expectations and ridiculous rages fueled by ignorance. However the main game is that we are back to our regular bland, boring television that does not involve fear, terrorism, screaming and shouting.
This past week was historic, but in a rather low-key way. Nevertheless, Hillary Clinton became the first woman to become a major candidate for President of the United States. Hilary promised to be a steady and patriotic American who would stand up for citizens of all races and creeds and would unite the nation to persevere against Islamic terrorists, economic trouble and the chaos of gun violence.
Clinton vowed to pull together and challenged Trump on his ridiculous claim that he alone can fix America’s problems. It promises to be an interesting and scary November. —N.L.M.—
